Acceptable Use Policy

What you may not do with TrafficLite, its API and the data in your workspace, and what happens when someone does it anyway.

Effective 11 September 2026

A short version: keep the data in your workspace lawful, keep your traffic and billing records honest, and do not attack the service or anyone else on it.

01What this covers

This policy applies to everything you do with TrafficLite — the console, the API, and any export or file it produces. It forms part of the Terms of Service, and breaching it is a breach of those terms.

02Data you put into the service

Do not use TrafficLite to store or process:

  • Personal data you have no lawful basis to hold — for example, contact lists bought or scraped without consent.
  • Payment card numbers, bank credentials or government identifiers in notes, copy or any other free-text field.
  • Content that is unlawful to possess or distribute where you operate.

03Honest traffic and billing records

TrafficLite produces logs, affidavits and invoices that advertisers and agencies rely on. Do not use it to:

  • Issue invoices or affidavits for spots you know did not air, or alter as-run records to show airings that did not happen.
  • Misrepresent rates, discounts or agency commissions to the parties being billed.
  • Advertise products or services in breach of the broadcasting rules that apply to your stations.

04The platform itself

  • Do not try to reach another workspace's data, probe for vulnerabilities without written permission, or get around role, station or plan limits.
  • Do not share accounts or API keys outside your organisation, or resell access to the service.
  • Do not overload the service: respect API rate limits and do not run automated traffic against the console.

Found a security problem? Email support@workflowcorp.com before telling anyone else, and we will work with you on it.

05Enforcement and appeals

When we learn of a breach we may warn you, revoke API keys, suspend members or the workspace, or close it. For attacks on the platform or on other customers we will act immediately and without notice. Otherwise we will normally contact the workspace owner first and allow time to fix the problem and export data.

Appeals. If you think a decision was wrong, email support@workflowcorp.com within 30 days, naming the workspace and the decision and including anything we did not have in front of us. A suspension normally stays in place while an appeal is open.
